As Spring turns to Summer, the greens are punctuated by vibrant local berries, ripe stone fruits, summer squash, heirloom tomatoes and a multitude of fresh herbs. What a time to cook! With this wave of new ingredients comes the creation of our new Spring/Summer menus each year.

New Minimum Order Amounts:
Effective June 1st, 2019 we will be changing our minimum order amounts as follows:
New Minimum Order Amount: $600
Sunday Minimum Order: $750
Holiday Minimum Order: $1000
We are aware this new minimum order may be difficult to reach for smaller events, and as such our team has established partner vendors who are able to provide high quality, reliable service at lower minimums. Our Booking Team is able to make a seamless transition between these partner vendors to ensure there are no gaps in service for pending orders. Any orders placed before June 1st will be honoured at our old minimums.
Why are we changing the minimums?
When Drew’s Catering & Events was founded nearly 10 years ago, its goal was to be an event catering company specializing in customized menu offerings and high-level service. During that time, the feedback we received from our clients was that a significant need existed in the market for quality drop off style corporate catering, and we began to offer and grow this service to provide value for our clients.
Over the last several years, exciting things have happened in the food delivery market. New services and apps have been created to help fill this market need, and it has never been easier for organizations to order high-quality, prepared food from a range of providers for their smaller meetings or get-togethers.
Seeing this evolution has been exciting to watch. We have always believed the best value we bring to the market is in our team’s ability to bring memorable service to larger functions and events with our award-winning service team and food. These factors are what prompted us to make these changes to our minimums to focus on what we feel we do best for our clients.
These changes further reflect our commitment to our company’s original focus and will allow us to dedicate more resources towards adding value to our clients’ events every day.
