Our chef/owner Drew recently returned from a culinary adventure trip to Japan, and while there he had an experience eating chicken sashimi. Yes, you read that right, raw chicken!
He posted a photo of this during his travels and naturally, many people were grossed out by this concept.
Why do the Japanese freely eat raw chicken, and consider it safe, while in North America it’s thought of as one of the most dangerous foods one can eat? Drew decided to make a quick video explaining this and how the state of our agriculture, specifically for chicken farming, are to blame for many of the reasons chickens are unsafe to eat raw.
