We are very fortunate here at DCE to be able to work with many clients who trust us to execute their vision. We love the challenge of creating a custom menu that brings our clients’ vision to life! One of our corporate clients is a large software company who approached us wanting to throw a Carnival-Themed menu for a staff appreciation event. 200 lucky staff were to be in attendance, and they wanted the menu to have a classy, high-end Cirque du Soleil type of feel.
What did we say?
Of course, we can do that!
Our kitchen team, led by our Executive Chef Sekihata, got right to work creating a custom menu. The menu included house-made doughnuts on a custom designed doughnut wall, featuring creative flavours such as Matcha White Chocolate, Passionfruit & Coconut, Raspberry Pop Rocks and Salted Caramel. We also created custom flavours of freshly made popcorn like togarashi lime, white truffle cheddar and saffron.
Amongst all the assorted carnival themed-treats, we also set up a full beverage station, working popcorn machine, and worked with local balloon artists to create balloon art on-site. It was a great carnival event for grown-ups that brought out the kid in everyone. For a look at the event, check out this brief video:
